Meet the Team

Eva Deleon, Founder & CEO

Eva Deleon, MA, CRC, ADAC, is the CEO and Founder of EquityWorks Accessibility Alliance, LLC (EWAA), a consulting firm specializing in accessibility services for public agencies, education systems, healthcare, cultural institutions, and correctional facilities. With more than 25 years of experience in accessibility, employment services, and disability-related programs, Eva provides expertise in architectural accessibility, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Self‑Evaluation and Transition Plans, Universal Design and inclusive practices, program and policy compliance, and customized training.


Before launching EWAA, Eva served in multiple leadership roles at the University of Washington’s Center for Continuing Education in Rehabilitation (CCER), including Assistant Director of the Northwest ADA Center, Director of Accessible Design and Innovative Inclusion, and CCER Assistant Director of Programs. She has led regional and national projects focused on ADA compliance, vocational rehabilitation, traumatic brain injury in corrections, and systems improvement across government and community partners.

Sherri von Wolfe, Principal Architect

Sherri provides architectural services throughout Alaska with atelier corbeau – art & architecture. She also contracts with EquityWorks Accessibility Alliance, LLC (EWAA) as an accessibility consultant and architect, offering site and facility accessibility assessments, training, technical assistance, and program development.


Her career has included roles as a licensed architect with extensive experience in interior architecture and Universal Design, as well as positions as an Independent Living Advocate, community accessibility specialist, aging in place consultant, and pediatric

physical therapist. This interdisciplinary grounding informs a lifespan based

understanding of how people move through and interact with the built environment and fuels her commitment to advancing access, equity, and belonging through inclusive

design.


Outside of her professional practice, Sherri is an active participant in and supporter of the arts in her community.

Mell Toy, Lead Digital Accessibility Officer

Mell worked for over 15 years in blind rehabilitation and low vision therapy, including at the Washington State Department of Services for the Blind and at the Veterans Administration Puget Sound Health Care System. She served as assistant director for the Northwest ADA Center, where she helped people to learn about the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). At EWAA, Mell conducts accessibility evaluations, provides training and technical assistance, and remediates Word and PDF documents. She specializes in making events, meetings, websites, and digital products accessible.

Isabelle Heyward, Research and Program Evaluation Officer

Isabelle Heyward is a PMP‑certified program coordinator with more than 15 years of experience advancing accessibility, evaluation, and community‑centered program development across public‑serving institutions. She specializes in translating ADA, Universal Design, and IDEA principles into practical, actionable strategies that strengthen organizational clarity and improve the experiences of people with disabilities and historically underserved communities.


Isabelle has led large‑scale accessibility audits, multi‑year evaluation initiatives, and cross‑functional program development efforts at the Pacific Science Center and the Museum of History & Industry. Her work includes conducting ADA and sensory assessments, developing implementation frameworks, facilitating community advisory groups, and producing research‑driven reports that guide executive decision‑making.


With deep expertise in mixed‑methods research, stakeholder engagement, and strategic communication, Isabelle helps organizations understand complex requirements and turn them into clear, community‑rooted practices. She is committed to supporting clients in building environments, programs, and experiences that are inclusive, equitable, and grounded in real community needs.

Brooke Bonnell, Digital Accessibility Specialist

Brooke Bonnell is an Accessibility Specialist with two years of accessibility work experience and eight years of municipal government experience. She is actively pursuing her Americans with Disabilities Act Coordinator Certification (ADAC) and has obtained an ADACC Advanced: Web Accessibility Certification. In her current role with EWAA, Brooke has a focus on digital and physical accessibility, operation efficiency, and assists with program evaluation for entities of all sizes.

Elizabeth Ralston, Accessibility & Inclusion Strategist

Elizabeth Ralston is a consultant who guides organizations in the strategic development of an accessibility roadmap, with an emphasis on equity and inclusion. She has over 25 years of experience working with nonprofits, government agencies, and academic institutions.


Elizabeth’s expertise is in maximizing organizations’ success through planning and coaching, program development, strategic communications, and event implementation, all with an eye on accessibility. Elizabeth is also the Founder of the Seattle Cultural Accessibility Consortium, a grassroots effort to help arts and cultural organizations improve accessibility for their audiences. Her creation of the Consortium emerged from deep listening to the arts and disability communities about the gaps in accessibility. She brings a unique perspective to her work, through her lived experience with a disability.


As a deaf woman who uses cochlear implants to hear, Elizabeth faces accessibility challenges every day. Her hearing loss never stopped her from achieving her life goals. As a Peace Corps Volunteer in Malawi, Africa, she saw first-hand the powerful impact a person can have on others’ lives. She has devoted her life to public service ever since.

Grace Anne Larrauri, Executive Assistant

Grace Anne Larrauri supports the CEO and daily operations at EquityWorks Accessibility Alliance, helping keep projects organized and communication flowing smoothly. She brings strong organizational abilities, reliability, and a commitment to advancing accessible and inclusive practices.
